JESUS SPOKE:   “The time has come…” WE EMBRACE OUR LIVES AND OUR TIMES AS A GIFT AND SACRED TRUST •    We believe we are part of a good creation. •    We believe we live in a world we were made to enjoy, embrace and cultivate. •    We believe our lives are pregnant with meaning and purpose. •    We believe God is here and active among us. •    We believe we were made for the times we are living in. •    We believe we are intimately loved by a benevolent creator. •    We believe we must negotiate with God to discover how we are being loved in every moment of our lives. JESUS SPOKE: “The Kingdom of God is at Hand…” WE LIVE FOR THE RESTORATION OF CREATION •    We believe the reign of God is breaking out with violent energy. •    We believe a new life is now possible through the example and sacrifice of Jesus. •    We believe that the grace of God frees us to live a new life. •    We expect significant healing in every dimension of our lives. •    We believe we were made for one purpose:  to love the creator and the creation. •    We seek the remaking of creation and embrace all of life as sacred.  •    We believe there is a revolutionary force at work, the Spirit of God, wooing us towards health, wholeness, love and peace. •    We struggle in the hope that a time is coming when all things will be made new. JESUS SPOKE: “REPENT.” WE SURRENDER OUR LIVES TO IMAGINE A NEW WAY OF LIFE. •    We recognize that we have inherited and perpetuated empty ways of life that must be dismantled and replaced by new patterns of living. •    We recognize that the empires of this world stand in opposition to the kingdom of God. •    We recognize Jesus as our model and teacher for life. •    We reimagine our goals, priorities, habits and behavior in light of the invitation to come further into the kingdom of God. •    We believe we are invited into a perpetual revolution in which that transformation is realistic and possible. •    We are committed to doing everything necessary to be transformed by power of the spirit. •    We surrender the parts of ourselves to the will of our creator. JESUS SPOKE: ”BELIEVE THE GOOD NEWS.” WE ACT WITH INTENTION TO PURSUE LIFE UNDER THE RULE AND REIGN OF GOD •    We demonstrate our faith by how we live. •    We take daily risks to follow the master. •    We choose to live in the generosity and abundance of the kingdom. •    We seek love and reconciliation in all our relationships. •    We act with compassion toward those who are hungry, thirsty, lonely, naked, or in prison. •    We seek to live a centered life by practicing prayer, silence and solitude. •    We make and keep our vows of obedience to the teachings of the master. •    We continue to explore the story together, teaching and admonishing one other. •    We live with intentionality in terms of our minds, our bodies, our time, our relationships and our resources.
