JESUS DOJO:  STUDENT GROUPS

ReIMAGINE has hosted groups of students and young adults in San Francisco for several years, typically during Spring Break or in the summer months. We have recently revamped our week long "Jesus Dojo" program for students.

A dojo is literally a “place where one learns the way.”  It is our hope that this week will inspire participants to live in the way of Jesus in every dimension of life.  Jesus Dojos are designed to provide opportunities to serve the people of San Francisco while keeping the big picture of spiritual formation in mind.  We hope to provoke imagination for a life as disciples and followers of Jesus.

We will focus on a different aspect of the life and teachings of Jesus each day of the week, and we will learn to be a HEALER, ARTIST, COMPANION and MYSTIC.

We believe that transformation happens through:

•    New Information
•    New Experiences
•    Rigorous Self-examination
•    Intentional Group Encounter
•    New Behaviors, Habits and Decisions
•    Guidance and Mentoring and Example
•    Pain, Suffering, and Perseverance
•    The Work of the Spirit
